Fitness & Probity | Regulated Financial Service Providers

Under the Central Bank Reform Act of 2010, all persons performing Pre-Approval Controlled Functions/Controlled Functions must be screened as per Central Bank of Ireland guidance on Fitness and Probity standards. The screening of all candidates in these functions is mandatory for all Financial Institutions licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland. Regulated financial service providers are required to hold on file all due diligence undertaken with respect to individuals performing these roles. The Central Bank can at any time request that these records be made available for review.
